How to Build An Irresistible Lead Magnet
With 30% opt-in rate.

Hello there 👋
Another coffee shop I pass by presents today's newsletter.
After a double shot of Americano, my brain is energized to write and send this post.
We will discuss building an effective lead magnet to convert your audience into leads or subscribers.
When I talk to other creators, many still wonder what a lead magnet is, who it is for, how to use it, when to use it, and whether it is good or bad.
Well, the answer is varied.
By its terminology, a lead magnet is a marketing term for something that you, as a creator, give your audience for free in exchange for your audience’s database: email, name, phone number, etc.
For example, free template, ebook, notion project task, samples, etc.
Lead magnet is specifically used to capture leads more effectively than any other form of capturing.
To get you up to speed, let’s take a case study from Greg Isenberg:
✅ 500k+ followers across socials.
✅ Built and sold 3 companies.
✅ Advisor to TikTok & Reddit.
✅ 75,000+ email subscribers.
✅ Owning 6 companies worth 8 figures.
And you might be wondering why he's becoming sensational on the internet?
Well, it's because he understands how to build a community.
As he knows how to build an audience, he shares his secrets in his five-day educational email course called the ACP (Audience-Community-Product) Playbook. It has an email opt-in rate of around 30%. I know this because I also have this lead magnet under my belt.
It's an educational email course on building products you know your customers want and generating recurring revenue without any investor capital.
Let's break down how he builds his landing page and lead magnet to capture email, educate, nurture, and convert leads into customers 👇
1. Three Frameworks to capture attention

Key lessons:
A clear hero landing page with three frameworks to capture attention:
Headline
Sub-headline
CTA
Use an outcome-based approach to sell the dream.
2. Deliver what you are promising

Key lessons:
To get people to subscribe, you must deliver the promises to your audience. The screenshot above shows that the page delivers the promises by showing what's inside the course.
Those four points are key outcomes that the audience will learn if they subscribe to Greg's course.
3. Tackle your audience’s objections

Key lessons:
To convince people, you must tackle their objections: extract more value from your offer and give them more details of what's inside!
The above screenshot shows the exact details of what people will learn if they subscribe. This will further motivate the audience to read and eventually join the course.
4. Leverage testimonials

Key lessons:
Leverage wall of love to build trust to your audience.
5. Repeat everything, but do it with different words

Key lessons:
Repeat your offer value, again! But, do it using different words.
Get it on top of your audience's head, and include one last testimonial from an authoritative figure to boost trust.
Well, I hope you have learned a valuable lesson here to build an effective lead magnet to capture emails.
Until next week!
